Here we have a Pool deck in a somewhat sunken back yard. This lady was plagued with poor drainage. Over the years, a thick layer of sludge has made its home in the corners of this deck. With such a delicate surface, the use of a surface cleaner could introduce unwanted damage and carve a pattern into the painted surface. I elected to soft wash this Orlando pool deck instead. A liberal first coat was enough to kill the organic growth and allow it to be rinsed away easily. When the top layers had been removed, I could see holes opening up and knew that there would be organics growing deep down in the cracks. As I have done before, I recoated the entire deck and allowed the solution to dwell and continue to work over the next few hours. This will allow it to brighten up over the next few days.
