Orlando Concrete Driveway Cleaning

This Orlando driveway had not been washed in a few years, yet it was surprisingly clean. Well, at least not dirty enough to draw the attention of the HOA letters. However, when the homeowner wants it cleaned as part of a general property refresh, Castle Wash won’t say no!

Once again, I found myself explaining the benefits of soft washing to an Orlando customer. I made special attempts to point out that their driveway was in very good shape and persuaded them to allow me to use the more delicate technique. In a break from traditional pressure washing, I used a higher strength concentration in order to be harsher on the organic growth. It would need to penetrate and work for longer since I would not be using high pressure this time.

As the many black spots began to turn brown and disappear, I re-treated a few areas and then rinsed the edges of the grass very heavily to avoid dead grass. This small step is what separates a bad job from a good job! To read more about soft washing, click the link below!

This method works best when moving slow and really paying attention to your spray patterns. If you work too quickly, you’ll leave areas that aren’t rinsed properly and when the driveway dries, lines will appear in random patterns. The lack of direct pressure being applied to the concrete forces me to slow down. Again, this method was much more of a 'Driveway Washing' than others. This is a small tradeoff I will gladly accept, as the results are always incredible. Overall, this method works great and has many advantages!
